Why we do this
Both of us have been on a lifelong journey of personal growth and quest for meaning and purpose. We’ve come to appreciate the complexity of life and our unique place in it, striving to live more consciously and in the present moment. We continue seeking to be truer to the ever-changing experience of life, staying open to what is and becoming freer from self-imposed and external judgements and expectations.
Our personal approach to life greatly influences our professional work. As psychotherapists, we have years of experience working with diverse people and psychological issues. Our paths, however, have extended beyond therapy and continue doing so. We’ve explored various disciplines like theatre, somatic practices, music, movement, philosophy, psychology, science and spirituality. We have experienced in ourselves the transformative potential of psychedelics and having worked extensively with them we’ve also witnessed the same in others.
In our work with psychedelics, we combine the knowledge we’ve learnt from traditional ceremonial practices that have been used in various cultures for thousands of years with modern psychological and therapeutic approaches. We respect the multifaceted nature of these substances which go beyond cultural expressions or interpretations and open up new dimensions of experience. We strongly believe in a ‘less is more’ perspective where safety and deep personal work lead to the most impactful psychedelic experience.
Our goal is to create opportunities for others to experience deep transformative personal growth with the help of psychedelics. We believe that much can be learnt from these experiences and want to provide the opportunity for whoever wants to explore them to have the means to do so.

Important information about the use of truffles
The psychedelic truffle retreats we offer in the Netherlands are intended for personal growth, spiritual exploration and educational purposes only. Participation in these retreats involves the consumption of psychedelic truffles, which contain psychoactive substances that can produce profound alterations in consciousness and perception.
Participation in our retreats requires that all participants be in good physical and mental health. By attending, you acknowledge that you are physically fit and have no medical conditions that would preclude your safe participation. This includes, but is not limited to, heart conditions, severe mental illness, or recent surgeries. You must inform us of any pre-existing conditions, medications, or allergies prior to the retreat.
Psychedelic truffles can produce a range of effects, including but not limited to: visual and auditory hallucinations, altered sense of time and space, emotional and psychological shifts, and, in rare cases, anxiety or panic. These effects can be intense and unpredictable. While we provide a safe and supportive environment, we cannot predict or control individual experiences.
The experiences facilitated during our retreats do not constitute psychotherapy or any other form of professional mental health treatment and so are not a substitute for such treatment. Our retreats are not designed to treat, diagnose, or cure any mental health disorders or medical conditions. Any guidance or support provided is for the purpose of enhancing your personal experience and should not be interpreted as professional therapy or counselling. If you are currently undergoing treatment for any mental health issues, it is advisable that you consult with your healthcare provider before participating.
Psychedelic truffles are legal in the Netherlands; however, their use may be restricted or illegal in other jurisdictions. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local laws if travelling to and from the retreat.
